Just stopped by to see the famous rosebud motel. Wish we had a reason to stay in the area. It seemed like a nice quiet area and well taken care of too.
We were hoping to stay the night with our little dog but unfortunately the pet friendly room(s) were sold out. Regardless, just being there was very moving for us as we are big fans of the show. The owner was outside working and stopped and took the time to show us around which was super nice of him! We even ran into fans as far as The Netherlands who were taking pics on the side of the road ! Hopefully when we want to do another road trip, we will get the opportunity to stay the night. Maybe even enjoy Happy Hour with cinnamon buns and vodka! And if we are lucky, Frank from the quarry will be there, hopefully with some rocks this time:)
Drove from London ON to visit the motel. To our surprise the new owner was on site and allowed us to come down and walk around and then actually let us in to a room. He was so incredibly kind and really made our trip worth while. We can’t wait for it to be up and running, we will be back!
Stevie's the best! But, I'm giving service four stars because when I was woken up by a leaky pipe, there weren't any towels. Plus, I couldn't get a hold of the plumber. Oh, and the people occupying the last two rooms turned out to be an eccentric family who used to be a tycoon of the (now defunct) movie rental business back in the day. Anyway, highly recommended
we drove past it on our way elsewhere, and had to stop - it looks exactly like it did I'm the show, right down to the 40 year old coke machine. not worth going to unless you're staying there or driving past as we were (it is well off the beaten path) but it was wild to see this fictional place in real life - very surreal
Hello! It seems like you’re open for real, and I would be interested in coming to stay, but not without some more details available. Are you going to have a website with updated interior pictures and other information about accommodations? Are you renovating the rooms to look like the show sets, and/or decorating them with fan memorabilia? Or is it just an ordinary motel with the facade from the show? I think you could probably make a pretty penny if you created an immersive fan experience and established a web presence to spread the word—right now most other superfans I know don’t even know you’re open. (Or, like me, wouldn’t want to come from out of town to visit without a better idea of what you’re offering.) Hoping to have the opportunity to stay at the Rosebud Motel, “where every stay feels like home”!
